I shall label my post from now on: "ACE" for posts that are meant to be graded and "Misc." for random and every day life post. This post is labeled ACE so it's meant to be graded xD. After Mr. Chua's scolding today, two questions remain in my mind: What is education and how does it help?
Education is not the mere imparting of knowledge from one person to another; it is the imparting of discoveries and experiences that our forefathers have gone through and discovered. More than that, morals are also "transferred" in the process. Education is different from plain teaching; it is much more.
Despite all this, if we become as smart as Bill Gates or Li Ki (xD) and all, but we don't put the god-given intellect that we have to good and productive use, then the government would have wasted the money investing the resources on us. At times, I feel that I am too judgemental, maybe even hypocritical. However, I try to change for the better. Man always strive for the better... Even worse, if we put our intellect to bad use, then, we would have become into the very things that we were taught not to be.

'Learned monsters; skilled psychopaths', as Mr. Chua so aptly puts it.Education is important in moulding the minds of the future leaders in our society. This may sound really cliched and all, but it is undeniably true. Thus, I would like to end of this post here
by saying that education is important in that it shapes the way we look at things, even what we do in the future.
